How do your rates compare with other water taxi companies?
We are very competitive to any other water taxi service operating in Sydney Harbour. All fares include the first 4 people travelling and then $20 per person thereafter. Use our convenient auto quote system for a fast competitive rate. Don’t forget you’re getting a white water limousine & V.I.P service at standard water taxi rates.
What area do you operate in?
We operate everywhere in Sydney Harbour, from Manly to Roseville to Homebush Bay (Olympic Site) and everywhere in between. We can also travel 15 nautical miles to sea, EG. Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. We can pick you up from any private or public wharf in Sydney Harbour.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes and we also offer discounts for multiple hour hire.
How many passengers can you take?
Our largest vessel carries 28 passengers.
How long will it take to get there?
The average transfer is 15 – 20 mins. Use our auto trip time calculator to give you an approximate journey time.
Will I get wet and blown around?
We have protected undercover seating or open rear deck lounge available.
How do we get on and off the water taxi?
Every destination & pickup is different, that’s why we have multiple ways of getting you on & off safely, either through the bow, or the side or across the stern. Every option is considered and a suitable vessel is despatched to do that job. “Your safety is our number 1 priority”. Sorry our water taxis are not suitable for wheelchairs.
Can we cruise the harbour and check out the sites?
We specialise in showing you & your guests our beautiful harbour, request our free commentary service to tell you all there is to know. You can charter out V.I.P water taxis by increments of 15 mins, 30 mins or by the hour.
When do you operate?
V.I.P water taxis are available 9:00 to 22:30 every day of the year! For bookings outside of these hours please email us at info@vipwatertaxis.com.au.
What happens if we are delayed/running late for our booking?

Do you do wedding proposals on the water?
We can do a small charter where we find a special private area for you. We shut down all equipment. Vessels have a private area at the stern and our skippers are discreet. We can also help you with music and glasses for celebratory drinks. Find out more here.
Can we bring our own music on our iPhones or an iPod?
Our vessels are fitted with sound systems that are compatible with most phones and iPod’s.
